BAT 2018 is also located in the Ekamra Kshetra Heritage Zone. Generations of artisans have worked on the temples in the region over centuries and this work forms the reference and inspiration for many artisans today. Young artisans have struggled in recent times to find a context and relevance to their inherited skills. Liminal View is the synopsis of this situation – where the artisan contemplates his new work and identity surrounded by the architecture and craftsmanship that defines them.
